Atlantic Giant Squash (Cucurbita maxima) : the original and famous competition variety. These squashes grow to incredible sizes thanks to the plant's vigor and robustness. To achieve optimal results, carefully prepare the soil; this guide can help you. Set up an irrigation system suited to the significant water needs of these squashes. Select one squash per plant, taking care to choose those with long stems; sometimes they separate from the plant as they grow. When the squashes reach 20-25 kilograms, they should be placed on a protective pallet so they can be moved.
