Free Distribution of Seeds

As we enter this new year, we'd like to share with you the changes that will be taking place within the association. Over the years, we've distributed a great deal of free goods to schools, organizations, and individuals. We've struggled greatly during the Covid restrictions, but we've slowly recovered, thanks to the hard work of those who have supported the association for years, the volunteers, and the people who support us. We'll therefore try to make everything easier and involve everyone.
Actively reach out to as many people as possible to decide together where to allocate resources and free distributions. How? Thanks to digital technology, we will soon launch a membership campaign where each member will be given a password to access virtual meetings. Over the years, Cercatori has gathered supporters throughout Italy; now it's time to unite them. This year, free distributions will be managed following the association meetings, where voting will decide the areas and quantities to be distributed. This year, for example, many resources went to Emilia Romagna; subsequently, we were unable to secure the resources to reopen a window. We still sent supplies to schools, institutions, prisons, and pediatric hospitals (using the materials intended for schools).
A few little rules to make our work easier.
We are publishing some information below for those interested in participating in the meetings:
The seeds distributed, like all those on the site, are reproducible; the free guides help you understand how: they are therefore distributed once per person.
We ship the seeds based on their production on our estate: spring sowing from October to April, winter cultivation from June to September.
If the button doesn't work, don't write to us, it means we are unable to ship.
If you don't receive your seeds or receive them, don't complain on social media and try to harm us. It's all free, and we don't accept donations or contributions of any kind. If you haven't received them, someone else will have needed them more than you.
Shipping is entirely covered by the association; there's nothing to pay, EVER. Over the years, we've shipped to thousands of people for free. Please be patient, we're always receiving a huge number of requests.
Requirements to request free seeds
There are no requirements, we try to fulfill as many free requests as possible , we don't apply any particular criteria, shipping is completely free, we even take care of postage for more fair distribution.
You can request seeds by clicking the button below. If it's grayed out, it means we're not shipping or are running out of requests.
There is no need to indicate the reason: shipping address, where it is grown (if the location is different from this one) and possibly experience, if known, the type of soil.
What seeds can be requested?
We generally discard requests that are too large (we sometimes receive requests for hundreds of sachets) and requests for rare or particular varieties, ALWAYS GIVING PREFERENCE TO THOSE IN NEED.

What should I write in the email?
In the email, please indicate: Cultivation location; garden size; shipping address with telephone number and courier email address; soil type (if known) (clayey, sandy, medium texture); and, if you'd like, your experience. If you know of a variety typical of your area and it appears on the website, please don't hesitate to ask us; the ultimate goal is to preserve agrobiodiversity.
FINALLY, PLEASE ASK FOR SEEDS ONLY IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED,
RESPONDING TO EMAILS COSTS TIME, WE RECEIVE A LOT OF THEM, YOU RUN THE RISK
OF NOT REACHING THOSE WHO REALLY NEED IT.
Please forgive the many clarifications and restrictions, they are necessary to be able to implement the measures as effectively as possible.
