Golden Beetroot (Beta Vulgaris)

Golden Beet (Beta vulgaris): An ancient variety (ca. 1820 or earlier). Rich and sweet flavor, golden yellow in color. Even the green part has an excellent taste, sweet and exceptionally fragrant. The plant is particularly hardy, tolerating cold and poor soils well. This is one of our favorite beet varieties, for its taste and beauty.
