Carosello Spuredda (Cucumis melo): amongst the species, the Spuredda is the one most similar to cucumbers to which it remains a good alternative. The fruit is consumed when it reaches the 15 cm, still immature; the fresh and crispy pulp tastes something in between a cucumber and a melon.Traditional variety from Southern Italy, from the beautiful Puglia specifically.
Important: carosellos are for all intents and purposes melons and with these hybridize.
