Jaune du Doubs Carrot (Daucus carota)

Jaune du Doubs Carrot (Daucus carota): not everyone knows that orange carrots are a selection from the beginning of the last century, the oldest ones are in fact white and yellow if European, purple if from the East.
This ancient traditional French variety has yellow roots. A strong and sweet taste.  To be sown between February and May, and then in August. It takes 90 days to maturation, 65/80 gm of weight.
 They keep their colour even after cooked. It is a rustic variety that keeps well in winter. As all carrots, it is biennial, it will therefore be necessary to wait until the spring following sowing to obtain the seeds.
