Casaba Hopi (Cucumis melo)
Tempo di semina
Casaba Hopi (Cucumis melo) : We have been growing this melon variety for many years, consistently achieving excellent results. Selected in semi-desert areas by the Hopi, the most important growers among the indigenous Amerindian people. A hardy and productive plant, it is easy to grow, requires very little water, and is therefore suitable for arid climates.
The fruits are not overly sweet, with a citrusy aftertaste that is very pleasant, though unusual. They keep well after being picked.
Perfectly acclimated to our country, as evidenced by feedback from various years of distribution and our own cultivation, it is a highly sustainable variety due to the characteristics listed above. Suitable for dryland farming.
