Ox Heart Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata)

Ox heart Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var.capitata): this variety is suitable for both, spring and summer sowing. Even though we've been growing it for our own consumption for a while now, we had not posted it on the site because we simply don't remember the origin of the seed. Last year, however, thanks to our own selection of the best plants over the years, we noticed them to be particularly beautiful and fragrant. It was then decided it was worth distributing them for spring/summer sowing. It is easy to grow, ready in about ninety days,  large and fragrant. Very good for crunchy salads, with a strong taste, it can also be stewed. It is a large nitrogen consumer, and needs rich soil.
