Celosia - Amish Cockscomb (Celosia cristata)
FINE STAGIONE
Celosia - Amish Cockscomb (Celosia cristata): keleos, from the Greek "flaming"; hence the genus name for these stunning amaranthaceae. The flowers of both the plumosa and cristata species are intensely colored and iridescent in the sun, creating a truly spectacular effect.
Blooms last until the winter frosts, and cut flowers last a long time in vases. This particular variety produces many large, compact, iridescent, pink-purple inflorescences, beautiful.
Growing is easy, from germination to harvest: just be careful to maintain a temperature between 20 and 30°C during sowing. Plant in full sun and water regularly, that's all you need to have a flower that will be talked about, it can be cultivated on the field or on your balcony, it is a must!
Suitable for beginners and "black" thumbs.
