Cucumber Gele Trois (Cucumis sativus)

Gele Tros cucumber (Cucumis sativus): an ancient Dutch variety with a deep yellow color. The fruits, which grow to 25 cm in length, have a particularly intense flavor and aroma. They are not very watery and are particularly crunchy. Originally developed for small-scale retail trade, they lend themselves well to forced cultivation and greenhouse cultivation, and keep well after harvest.

Less and less widespread in Europe due to its color, which is not appreciated by markets seeking standardization.
