  • Jibai Shimoshiraztu Cucumber (Cucumis sativus): this variety from Japan has only one difficulty, its name! It is very resistant to fungal attacks, it can be grown both, on the ground and with net support.

Even though those are already very attractive features, we have selected it for another important reason, its sweetness, there is no sweeter cucumber than this one.

To be sown in spring until June,it is  averagely early, very productive, to be harvested when it reaches 20 cm. However, too get the seeds, it should be allowed to be fully ripe, when it is about 50 cm and displays an intense yellow colour.

This is one of the best varieties we have grown in terms of taste, productivity, and resistance.
