Kaho watermelon (Citrullus lanatus): a small but flavorful Japanese watermelon. The fruits weigh up to 3 kg, have very thin, pale skin, and a beautiful salmon-colored flesh. The flavor will amaze you: sweet and crunchy, yet with an exotic fruit aroma. Numerous fruits appear on the plant, ripening within 60 days of transplanting. It's the perfect variety for pallets and, with a little care, can be grown in large pots. It's the least demanding of soil; the only recommendation is to avoid waterlogging. Excellent for both home-grown and small-scale retail trade.
