  • Moon and Star Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) : An ancient variety cultivated by the Amish communities, it's visually striking! The fruit, with its dark green rind covered in bright yellow dots, resembles a starry sky with a large moon. The fruits range from 45 to 60 cm in length and weigh 8 to 10 kg.
This variety and the yellow-fleshed variety are grown by the Amish without the use of electricity, so they require little water and are particularly hardy. They produce good yields per plant.

Sweet and fresh flavor. The leaves, like the fruit, will become dotted with yellow as they grow. Don't worry, this is normal for this variety, which is also very decorative.
