  • Cornue des Andes (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): a beautiful and delicious French tomato, but likely originating from the Peruvian Andes, increasingly popular and cultivated in Italy. The berry is large, easily reaching 15 cm in height. It is squat in shape, with sweet, juicy, and fragrant flesh, and very few seeds.

It is a variety suitable for sauces as well as for preserves.

Indeterminate ecotype, not precocious, ripening takes about 80 days from transplanting, on the other hand it resists lower temperatures well and the production is abundant.
