Wasabi Mustard (Brassica rapa var. japonica): this variety has a very particular taste reminiscent of horseradish, even if slightly sweeter, with a hint of wasabi. Very easy to grow, resistant to cold, it can be sown practically all year round, even in pots. We recommend avoiding the warmer months or choosing a shady location where the weather is hotter. It takes a month and a half from sowing to the first harvest, in temperate areas it can be harvested all year round. Overseas it is called pepper herb and is particularly used for sprouts, fresh and with a very light spicy tip. It is great in salads but it also does well in more complex dishes.
