Tabacchino Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris): interesting A traditional, bushy ecotype typical of Southern Italy, particularly Basilicata, Molise, and Sicily (to a lesser extent). Its name derives from its beautiful, bright brown color, reminiscent of fermented tobacco. The plant is hardy and requires little water. The small, ovoid seed has a particularly thin skin that facilitates digestion. Easy to grow, it is also suitable for beginners.
