Vaquita Negra Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris)
LANCIO SACCHETTI DI NATALE
Vaquita Negra bean (Phaseolus vulgaris): a typical variety of Mexican cuisine, specifically from the state of Morelos. Its climbing habit, and the color of its seeds, white with black spots, resembles the color of dairy cows, hence its name. We chose this variety because we consider Mexico a hotbed of crucial agrobiodiversity, where the cuisine offers so many incredible nuances. We have been growing this bean for several years, with very few problems. Hardy and productive, it is well acclimatized to our latitudes and tolerates even intense heat. Highly productive, it prefers loose soil; we have noticed that over-watering is detrimental to the plant. Excellent for those seeking something unique in the garden or kitchen.
