Mbombo Green Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris): A rare climbing green bean native to Kenya or Congo. The plant produces numerous pods containing emerald-colored beans with the intense flavor of green beans. They can also be eaten as green beans. Their main characteristic, however, lies in their exceptional resistance to hot climates and drought. Growing them is relatively simple, requiring support or trellis netting, but we have never interfered with the plants during cultivation. It is an extremely hardy variety, suitable for beginners and collectors alike. Interesting fact: the name recalls the mythology of the "Creator God" of Central African countries.
