  • Illinois Dwarf Sunflower (Heliantus annuus): A beautiful dwarf sunflower variety. Suitable for pots and even the most difficult soils, it grows no taller than 60 cm, while its bright yellow flowers reach a diameter of about 15-20 cm. This ecotype is a honey-producing plant, excellent for edging or as a food source for urban pollinators. Several can be grown in a large pot, creating a particularly dramatic effect. Seeds will be ready in just under two months. The flowering period is short, but given its precociousness, it can be sown twice a season, yielding a large quantity of seeds from the first crop.
