Jalapeño Purple (Capsicum annuum): This ancient variety of Jalapeño With a beautiful dark purple, almost black color, it produces large, fleshy berries with a typical intense, spicy flavor, approximately 10,000 SHU. The plant is large and productive, preferring full sun, which darkens the fruit; in fact , compared to other varieties of the species, it tolerates even high levels of sunlight.
Early, it produces ripe fruit 75 days after transplanting.
In the kitchen it can be eaten both fresh and stuffed, where it expresses its best: the shape and size are particularly suited to the filling.
