Jay's Ghost Scorpion Peach (C. Chinense)

Jay's Ghost Scorpion Peach (Capsicum chinense): A beautiful, extremely spicy cultivar, the fruit of a Buth Jolokia x Trinidad Scorpion, selected in Pennsylvania by a grower named Jay, hence the name. Although a relatively "new" variety, it is remarkably stable. The fruits, numerous on the plant, resemble large, wrinkled Jolokia peaches, a distinctive pink color, and are fragrant. Don't be fooled, though: the capsaicin content gives them a million Scoville ratings. A unique variety, much loved by collectors.
