Lollo Red Lettuce (Lactuca sativa): this variety of curly salad is beautiful to see, and good to eat. Its head is compact and round; its heart, abundant and tender, its red leaves are jagged and sweet It can be sown all year round avoiding the hottest and coldest months. Approximately 50 days from sowing to first harvest. The leaves, if cut correctly (keeping a few cmt at the base) grow back quickly, for numerous harvests. It is also suitable for pot cultivation, thanks to its fast growth and decorative appearance.
