Eggplant Shiroi Tamago (Solanum melongena)
€2.90Price
Shiroi Tamago Eggplant (Solanum melongena): an ancient Japanese eggplant with a perfectly oval shape and very white skin. It closely resembles the lineage of Japanese varieties, with its regular, attractive shape and clean, defined colors. In the kitchen, it's indistinguishable from other more common eggplants; the flesh is sweet but without overpowering flavor, and the very white skin is thin and doesn't require removing for filling. In the field, however, it stands out for its productivity.
By taking care to prune the lower leaves and giving the plant an umbrella shape, you will obtain a real egg tree.
