This plant is early, hardy, and very productive; it tolerates lower temperatures than other eggplants and is not susceptible to forcing. Harvest the fruits for consumption when they are not too large (less than 15 cm), while ripening the ones intended for seed propagation.

We selected this variety because it well represents the advantages of an ancient ecotype, meaning " heirloom ." It is suitable not only for home-grown cultivation, but also for small farms, which have the opportunity to grow an eggplant with more eco-sustainable characteristics, far from the industrial processes that have so damaged and continue to damage the balance between grower and land, which sustainability itself is a vehicle for.
