Green Nutmeg Melon (Cucumis melo): heirloom variety of green melon. At first, it was cultivated for the US market, and first appeared on a catalogue in 1806. The fruit is small, and named after the popular spice because of their similarity; not only in shape but in flavour too. The pulp is very aromatic and not overly sweet, it has a slightly spicy taste, almost exotic. The green parts of the plant don't develop too much so you can reduce the space between each other. Full sun exposure, ready in 85 days.
