Sybaris Wrinkled Melon (Cucumis melo)

Sybaris Wrinkled Melon (Cucumis melo): Another attractive variety from Calabria, this yellow melon has wrinkled skin and white, very sweet flesh. It loves heat, so the planting temperature should be at least 24°C (75°F). It stores well until the new year. It ripens late, and is harvested in late summer for autumn consumption. The plant is productive, with numerous fruits weighing up to 2 kilograms.
