Fatali Yellow Chili Pepper (Capsicum chinense)
FINE STAGIONE
Fatalii Yellow Chili pepper (Capsicum chinense): This extremely hot habanero pepper embodies all the aromas of the Caribbean, with a strong fruity flavor and citrus notes, even hints of toasted bread. It's often found in the processing industry for its sensory qualities but also for the plant's productivity. The plant is large, with numerous conical berries growing up to 7 cm long. When ripe, they turn a beautiful yellow and have an intense aroma.
Fatalii loves the heat, planted in full sun, it needs to be watered regularly.
Considered a central support after fruit set, the weight of the fruit could make the plant loaf. If growing it in a pot, choose a large one.
It's versatile in cooking, excellent for sauces when fresh or powders when dried. Keep in mind, however, that its spiciness hovers around 400,000 Scoville degrees, and the first world record was held by the Habanero Red Savina, which in 1996 reached just over half a million! So, be careful with the doses and use gloves when handling it.
