Lemon Drop chili pepper (Capsicum baccatum)

Lemon Drop or Hot Lemon chili pepper (Capsicum baccatum): a beautiful variety from Ecuador. The pointed chili peppers grow to a height of 10 cm and are a deep yellow color. Their heat level is around 30,000 SHU, making them edible without being overly spicy. The plant grows to a height of 80 cm, is vigorous, productive, and particularly decorative.
Its distinctive color and medium spiciness make it an excellent ingredient in the kitchen, both dried and ground into powder and fresh.
It adapts well to pots, but remember to provide at least 6 hours of direct light. In the ground, it prefers full sun.
This cultivar is strongly macrothermal, requiring adequate temperatures.
