Cubanelle pepper (Capsicum annuum): a classic of Caribbean cuisine, especially on the larger islands. This truncated horn-shaped pepper grows to 25 cm tall, has very thin skin, and is a deep green color when immature, later turning a deep scarlet red.
The flavor is light, sometimes pleasantly spicy, barely noticeable. Perfect for stir-frying, its low water content makes it suitable for quick cooking. The plant grows to 60 cm tall, is productive, and precocious, ready in 65 days from transplanting.
