LANCIO SACCHETTI DI NATALE
New Yorker tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicon): a variety specially selected for cold climates. Extremely early, just over 60 days after transplanting, it is a small, determinate plant. It produces numerous round, scarlet-red berries that weigh up to 350 grams. The flesh is firm, slightly watery, and has few seeds. It is fleshy in texture and has a full-bodied flavor. It is suitable for both sauces and salads. Not recommended for hot climates, but excellent for short seasons and high altitudes. It stores well after harvest. An easy variety for difficult climates.
