Details
Amana Orange Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): an ancient variety easy to grow and productive, with excellent taste, balanced, slightly sweet and exotic nuances, typical of orange tomatoes, rich in carotene. The history of this tomato is unique, in fact the variety was imported from Germany to the German colony of Amana, in Iowa, USA. He was basically "moved home."
The berries reach up to 1kg, juicy and rich in carotene, ready in 80 days from the transplantation. An excellent variety also for beginners because it is particularly rustic, and despite its large size it is resistant to apical rot, so some "mistakes" can be made in the irrigation process without risking ruining the large tomato.
