Cosmonauta Volkov Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum)

Cosmonaut Volkov Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): this is a special Ukrainian variety selected by Space Engineer Mikhailovich Maslov, also a passionate gardener, who named this variety, his favorite, after his friend Vladislav Volkov, a Russian astronaut who died whilst returning from his first mission to space.

This tomato does not fear cold, nor spring frosts. It reaches a big size, up to 700 gr, it is slightly flattened and ribbed, of an intense red and balanced taste between sweet and sour, deep and balanced. Production is good and fruits hold a good size even under severe weather.
