Details
Old Ivory Eggs Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): a precious, ancient variety of egg-shapped tomato, ivory colour that turns yellow when ripe.
It is medium sized, around 80 gm per berry, sweet, fine skin.
The plant is indeterminate, on average productive, immune to apical rot, and suitable for spartan (austere/severe) crops.
The origin of this tomato is uncertain, in 1986 it appears in the catalogue as a variety in Wisconsin, from Australian seeds.
