Akari Kabu turnip (Brassica rapa): another excellence from Nagasaki prefecture, this turnip holds a beautiful intense purple colour, as well as tender, sweet pulp. Small in size (up to 7 cm in diameter) it is ready in less than two months. It can be eaten raw or conserved in brine. As you will often find underlined in the descriptions of our ancient Japanese selections, the taste is delicate, but rich in nuances.
