  • Pusa Gulabi Radish (Raphanus sativus): we believe India is the only nation in the world that produces radishes of equal quality as   the highest Japanese Daikon or Chinese Shawo. Gulabi (rosé in Hindi) is a radish with a fleshy, intense pink pulp that remains tender even when it reaches an important size. The taste is sweet and spicy at the same time, rich of nuances, it would almost be reductive to call it radish. It grows with extreme ease and doesn't need any special soil, it clearly loves loose soils, given its size. In fact, the root reaches enormous size if allowed to overwinter, the reward: it does not lose but increases its taste and will always remain tender, a kg of pink radish!
It can be grown during both, spring and autumn, but  the later brings out its best. It does not suffer frosts! Fabulous
