Red Tat soi Brassica rapa subsp. narinosa)
Red Tat soi (Brassica rapa subsp. nasinosa): wonderful rare variety of Tatsoi, deep red colour. The Tatsoi or Tat Soi is similar to the Bok Choy, but its rosette of leaves is vaster and more dense, this rare red variety provides a beautiful appearance, perfect for a balcony garden. The taste of the leaves, which can be consumed both, raw and cooked, is sweet with a mustardy, a bit spicy and very pleasant tip. The stem is savoury but has little impact on the overall taste. Easy cultivation, no need for particularly rich soils, the plant germinates quickly and is ready to harvest the first leaves in about a month and a half from planting. Excellent in pots and greenhouses.
