Tatsoy Savoy (Brassica rapa var. narinosa)
Tatsoy Savoy (Brassica rapa var. nasinosa): the most traditional, ancient Tatsoy. These are similar to pak choy but with finer stems and a larger green part, the leaves are smaller but equally fleshy and, above all, tasty. Sweetness meet mustardy nuances, spicy but balanced, very pleasant. It is a rustic plant, grows rapidly, the optimal temperature is around 15°C, tolerates both, heat and cold well. In summer the plant will grow tall, up to 30 cm, in winter it will turn into a rosette, close to the ground. As with the other Tatsoi, the leaves can be harvested continuously for a constant harvest. The Tatsoi fits well in the vase and is great for microgreens and Baby Leaves. For consumption, it is eaten raw to stir fresh salads or sautéed in a pan, for an exceptional side dish.
