Umaina Japanese Chard (Beta vulgaris): Japanese Leaf Beet. Exceptional variety that displays very large, (up to 25 cm) shiny leaves of emerald green colour, they are very sweet and have fleshy texture . The plant is small but allowa for multiple harvests; it doesn't suffer the cold and tolerates the heat, it starts producing seeds very slowly.
As almost every other chard it is rustic and resistant.
