Verbena (Verbena officinalis): This perennial plant has always been attributed with magical powers; the Romans used it in many rituals, and the Druids considered it as important as mistletoe. In reality, its medicinal properties are more than just beliefs; it has astringent properties when used topically in decoctions and extracts. Herbal teas stimulate digestion, but this practice has fallen into disuse. Sow in spring, in a sunny location.
