Round Padana Squash (Cucurbita pepo): Also known as the Americana, it is grown in the Mantua and Cremona areas for stuffing and mustards. It has a rich flavor and is rich in large seeds, also excellent for eating. When harvested young, it has the flavor of a zucchini. It ripens in 120 days. Its provenance is not completely certain, but after extensive selection, it can now be considered an Italian squash.
