Golden Zucchini  (Cucurbita pepo):  beautiful, ancient variety of uncertain origins. The fruits are bright yellow, almost golden, the skin is smooth and sometimes slightly ribbed. The white pulp has a strong taste, also very fresh and aromatic.
It is ready for consumption in about 50 days from transplanting when the zucchini reaches 20 cm. To harvest the seeds you have to let it ripe until it takes a nice orange colour, and weights about 2 or 3 kg. The plant is productive in both, zucchinis and beautiful flowers.
It is a great partner when trying to bring new tastes to your cooking.
