Lemon Zucchini (Cucurbita pepo): A zucchini with a beautiful bright yellow color and a shape reminiscent of a lemon. The fruits should be eaten while still immature, like regular zucchini, when they are citrus-shaped and colored, and the skin is still tender and smooth. They will later turn orange, and blisters will appear on the skin: they are ready for seed collection.
The flavor is not much different from normal courgettes.
The plant is precocious, highly productive, and particularly resistant to pests. It's excellent for both home-grown and small-scale retail growers, and will undoubtedly attract customers' attention. Ready in 50 days from transplanting.
