Northern Lights Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): This extraordinary variety is among the earliest, ready in about 50 days from transplanting! Early tomatoes, suited to the short season and colder climates, are typically copper-colored, like the Siberian variety . They are small or medium-sized; the Northern Lights tomato can weigh up to 400 grams. It is a beefsteak variety, with full flesh that is not too watery and a fruity flavor. Its color is also inviting: yellow-orange with red streaks. The plant is indeterminate, requires support, and produces a significant yield. In central and southern Italy, it can be sown late and harvested until late autumn.
