A complete, all-Italian vegetable garden featuring the finest traditional varieties, all reproducible for years to come. Our beautiful country in a single garden, from Pie' di Monte to the Sicilian sea. Three types of tomatoes for every culinary use. Traditional varieties, some very ancient, like the Faenza watermelon, whose roots are lost in the centuries, perhaps imported as far back as the early 17th century. It most likely appears in Caravaggio's "Still Life with Fruit" from 1605. But it's not a rarity worth saving, from the aforementioned painting, also recently rediscovered, a true gem of Emilia: the Moscatello melon. Large in size, with an intense aroma, this marvel was cultivated for centuries and disappeared because it was unsuitable for transport; the fruit has a short shelf life once picked. We continue with a champion of flavor: the Neapolitan friggitello, the puparuol 'ro ciumm, ready to sauté alongside the large and delicious Florentine violet eggplant. A complete vegetable garden, complete with zucchini, cucumbers, and squash, all Italian, to rediscover lost flavors.
This collection is suitable for everyone, an exceptional gift, it will be much appreciated by anyone who has a passion for gardening
You can reproduce the seeds of all varieties; use the free guides on the site if you need help.
